CIPS Diploma
Commercial Skills DVD blended learning self study programme for CIPS Diplomas levels 4, 5 and 6 has proven to be a huge success. With many colleges of F.E. ceasing to provide CIPS courses and the modern purchasers need to be able to study in a more flexible manner, the way has been opened to our unique product becoming a firm favourite with students.
With the declining level of college provision in the North East Commercial Skills intend to launch a college based modular programme in Newcastle Upon Tyne commencing September 08. This programme will be built on the basis of the successful Newcastle university programme we ran for CIPS but will also combine our latest DVD blended learning product.

S/NVQs to MCIPS
Commercial Skills have recieved a very positive reception to their recently launched S/NVQ blended learning programme in supply chain management. Skills spent 2 years developing a "bespoke" electronic S/NVQ system that sits alongside our unique VQ DVD guides and support materials. All of this coupled with one to one mentoring from our team of expert SCM assessors makes for a product that is unrivalled in the market. Completion of levels 4 or 5 leads to MCIPS and therefore this non-exam based route is perfect for those of you currently working in a procurement department. Skills win major contract
We are pleased to announce that Commercial Skills were recently re-awarded the contract to deliver supply chain management S/NVQs to a number of major Government Departments. The award followed a rigorous tender process where all of the major providers were invited to tender. This re-award confirms that Commercial Skills are dedicated to providing a first class customer service.

Commercial Skills go to Egypt
This month Commercial Skills began delivering an NVQ Corporate programme for over 20 staff in Egypt from British Gas and Rashid Petroleum. This programme is becoming popular with organisations who want to develop the whole procurement team.
This contract was won following the immense success of a similar programme for British Gas in Tunisia, who have now embarked on a second programme with us.
