CIPS Qualifications

An approved CIPS study centre we offer levels 2 to 6 of the CIPS ladder of qualifications to students across the UK and Internationally;

Level 2 Introductory Certificate in Purchasing and Supply A basic purchasing qualification ideal for newcomers or part time purchasing staff

Level 3 Certificate in Purchasing and Supply Designed for those with minimal purchasing experience, also suitable for newcomers to the profession.

Level 4 Foundation Diploma (By Assessment or Exams)
This level comprises of 5 units (subjects) which can be completed by work based assessment or by exams. To enter the qualification ladder at this level you should have either;
Students without prior learning - a minimum of 2 years experience in a business environment
Students with prior learning - at least 2 A-levels (or international equivalent) or a Level 3 qualification.

Level 5 Advanced Diploma (By Assessment and Exams)
Only 1 of the 5 units of this level can be undertaken by assessment with the remainder (or all 5 if you prefer) being completed by examinations. Students enter this level on completion of all units at level 4 foundation diploma unless exemptions for units at level 4 have been agreed with CIPS.

Level 6 Graduate Diploma (By Assessment and Exams)
This level also offers the opportunity to complete 1 of the 5 units by assessment with the remaining units or full level being completed by examinations. Students undertake this level on successfully attaining level 4 and level 5 of the CIPS Diploma. Full membership of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing (MCIPS) can be applied for on completion.
