Commercial Skills is a CIPS approved leading procurement and education provider dedicated to raising the competence level of purchasing and supply chain practitioners. MCIPS
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply is recognised as the professional body for practising buyers and as such any career minded purchasing professional should strive to gain MCIPS. We can assist you in choosing the perfect route for you.
Supply Chain Management NVQ
This National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) is also often referred to as the Procurement NVQ, Purchasing NVQ and MCIPS NVQ.
MCIPS can be achieved without taking any examinations by enrolling on our Supply Chain Management NVQ and proving you are a competent purchasing professional. Candidates work via our bespoke to Supply Chain Management e-nvq system with full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) and use of the designation letters being granted upon completion of level 4 or 5.

Supply Chain Management SVQ
This Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) is undertaken in exactly the same way as the NVQ (explained above) with the only difference being the certificate of completion being awarded by the Scottish Qualifications Authority. Again those candidates completing level 4 or 5 along with 3 years experience will be awarded full MCIPS.

CIPS Diploma
The CIPS Diploma is made up of level 4 Foundation Diploma, Level 5 Advanced Diploma and Level 6 Graduate Diploma. This is an exam based qualification with full membership and use of designation letters being granted upon completion of the Graduate Diploma. With Commercial Skills you can choose to study alone using our unique DVD blended learning programme or have 1 to 1 support with one of our expert tutors.

CIPS Foundation Diploma Level 4 by Work Based Assessment
You can now pass CIPS Level 4 Foundation Diploma by completing 5 assessment papers (1 per unit) without taking a single examination. This distance learning programme is a non-exam route to the Foundation Diploma using our unique blended learning with one to one mentoring.

CIPS Levels 2 and 3 Certificates in Purchasing and Supply
These are designed for those who work at a more junior level but still wish to obtain a recognised qualification.

In-company training from procurement to leadership to negotiation can be delivered on-site and tailored to the client's/companies needs. Corporate development programmes to include developing a competence framework, conducting a training needs analysis, delivering a skill uplift programme with workshops and a professional qualification (suitable for teams of 6+) can also be offered.
